You may use Collection Vault to catalogue, manage, and share your personal collection of collectibles. You agree not to:
You own the photos and data you upload. By uploading content, you grant Collection Vault a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the service to you. We do not sell or share your images or collection data with third parties, except as described in our Privacy Policy.
AI analysis sends your images to Anthropic (Claude) and/or OpenAI (GPT-4o) for processing. By using AI analysis you consent to this transmission in accordance with those providers' terms.
AI-generated grades, condition assessments, and estimated values are provided for reference and informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional grading, certification, or appraisal. Actual market values may vary significantly. Collection Vault makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy of AI-generated estimates. Do not rely on them for insurance, financial, or legal purposes without independent professional verification.
We aim to keep Collection Vault available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of significant changes.
You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page (Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete Account). Deletion removes all your data permanently — items, images, and account details — with no recovery possible. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation policies will be presented clearly before any charge is made. Payments are processed by Stripe and subject to their terms of service. We do not store payment card details.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Collection Vault and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator resides. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before resorting to legal proceedings.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email where possible.
